Disappearing Double Pinwheel Quilt

If you’re new around here, be warned! Our disappearing blocks are quick and easy, but they’re a little…unconventional. First, Jenny stitches up a perfectly lovely block. Then, slice, slice, slice! That block is chopped to bits! But don’t you worry, because once those pieces are rearranged and mended, we’ll have a block so intricate and lovely, you won’t believe how easy it is to make! Antique Lace Quilt

It all began with a single quilt block. Just one lonely old block whose story had long been forgotten. Luckily, Jenny’s a real sucker for antiques, and she fell in love in an instant! Radiance Quilt

I love a good template, and when that template can be used to create all sorts of different patterns, it earns top billing in my sewing room! For this week’s tutorial, Jenny used the Burst Block template—a longtime Missouri Star favorite. Missouri Star Shop Feature: Batik Boutique
